Hole-in-one 311 yard Par 4
By Steve S On 2 November 2016
During a scramble (where we finished with a -20, 52 and didn't even place!) I pulled driver out for a drivable 311 yard hole (which was later shot with the range finder at 285 yds). Hit a 5-7 yard fade which was going right at the pin which was located on a slender green about 20 paces wide with bunkers guarding the green to the left and right. We saw the ball land right in front of the green and bounce up toward the pin which was located in the middle left hand portion of a 90 paces long. We could not see it finish, but I knew it was going to be close. As we walked up to the green, I did not see my ball and immediately thought I hit through the green. After looking all over the back part of the greed and into the woods, my partner sheepishly said, "I found it." As I turned around I could see the look on his face and said, "dDon't mess with me, where is it." He smiled and said, "Come on up here and take a look." As I walked closer my heart began to pound and when I looked in the bottom of the cup I said, you've got to be kidding me! Sure enough, my Titleist ProVI with a black #2 was staring right at me. It was my second hole-in-one, but first on a par 4! Best feeling I've ever had as a golfer!
