Hole in One

I was playing a five some ( I know, but it's allowed at the Santa Fe Country Club ) with the Asst. Pro Graham Richardson, friend Kelly Sisneros ( it was also his birthday ),
Bill Sisneros, his Dad and another friend Matthew Jaramillo.

We came upon the 14th Hole Par 3 which on thursday, 28th of June was playing 196 yards downwind, yet the in was tucked away in the back left portion of the green.
A tough pin position as there are over hanging branches and leaves which guard that pin placement as well as there is a bunker on the left side.

I decided to hit a 6 iron because it was downwind and the yardage seemed perfect for my 6 iron if only I could draw the ball in the from the middle of the green to the back left pin placement.

I hit my 6 iron high and if I may say so myself near perfect as it was indeed drawing in towards the hole from the middle of the green. It hit the green then hopped twice before disappearing in to the hole. Upon which raucous jubilation broke out around the tee box.

I was complimented profusely and repeatedly by my playing partners as they all concurred they thought it was truly a beautifully hit 6 iron that deservedly ended up in the bottom of the cup with the flag still in. Brilliant!!!
