My best friend and I were traveling from Connecticut to Houston, TX as he helped me move back home! I’ve spent two years in CT and it’s time to get back home with my wife and 11 month old. During this road trip, me and my friend stopped in Brevard, NC and chose to play at a course nearby called Springdale Country Club. We had a fun round at this beautiful course. 17th tee was a par three 158 yd shot. I knew my club would be 8 iron and I was playing a Titleist Tour Soft ball. I hit the shot and it was drawing perfectly! It was silent as me and my friend tracked it with our eyes. It bounced 5 ft in front of the pin and hit the flag stick dropping in the hole. We both freaked out! I chucked my club in the air and screamed (later to find out that the group ahead of us initially thought my scream was actually a coyote in the woods) - nope, it was the sound of a hole in one!!
