Two and a half years of lessons and frustration. For a beginner this was more about luck and effort to just reach the green on the 154 yard, par three on the 7th. hole. I didn't believe it could possibly be a hole in one so I went searching for my ball with a pitchin wedge while my friend yelled that the ball is in the cup. He saw it go in while I thought it went over the back side of the green.
I was fully prepared to buy drinks for everyone but it was late in the day. The 19th. Hole was empty, it cost me one can of diet soda.
I did get a Club plague and a great sense of joy and accomplishment.
