I was a walk on at Timbers at Troy in Elkridge Maryland and I was paired up with a gentleman. We decided to play back 9 and were on hole #14. We waited for another twosome to clear the green, then I teed off with a sand wedge ( it was elevated tee box with hole according to the card, played 135 ). Actually hole played much shorter. I was playing from white tees and struck a good shot but I lost it in the glare. I said to my partner i cleared the sand and hit the green but lost it from there. He said it hit the green. At that time, the other twosome were still near the green in their cart putting clubs away, when they looked up to see my Titleist golf ball bounce twice then roll 15 feet into the cup. The one guy said to the other " I dont think he knows it went in". A moment later both players poked their head around the corner and said "hole in one" ...I went down a retrieved my Titleist golf ball from the cup.....after round was over we all talked about shot at the clubhouse....thanks titleist keep making great balls...
