HoleIn One With My Brother

We had golfed the Glacier 18 first, had lunch and then took on the Prairie Glen Course. I had not played very well on the first 18 but shot 45 the first nine of the Prairie Glen course. I was putting and hitting the ball much better. Then, on hole number 16 after two pars in a row, I pulled out my trusty 22 hybrid, hit it high and floating onto the front of the green and it took a small bounce and disappeared into the hole. I said to my brother. "That hit the pin, didn't it?" and he said, "No I think it went in, and then he said, yeah it went in!" That set me up for the next two holes although I bogeyed the 17th and all I needed to do was par the 18 to break 40 which I hadn't done all summer. I hit the second shot just short of the green but it bounded into the guarding sand trap in front. I knew I had to get a good shot out of the trap, which turned out good but I was still 40 ft. from the hole on the green. I looked the putt over a little more than usual and then said to myself if you want 39 you've got to make this putt. It went in for a 39! That was a little extra frosting to the hole in one! Not only, that I did it with my brother who was here from Nashville for his 50th Class Reunion.I hadn't played Devil's Head since they made it into 36 holes. I normally play out of SentryWorld in Stevens Point.
