During a tournament at Meadowbrook Golf and Country Club near Hartley, Iowa, on June 18, 2016, I made my second hole in one on the same hole as the first ace. On the 2nd hole, I made a 146 yard knock-down shot with my 8 iron. The shot landed hopped twice and rolled about 2 feet before dropping in the hole. The shot was witnessed by Dan Schnell, his father, Irv Schnell, and Marlin Gustin. It was also witnessed by the players on the next tee box, one of which was a friend, Chris Dodd. This ace and the previous ace, ten years ago, were made in tournaments, and both made with a Titleist ProV1x golf ball. Both aces helped me to win prize money in the tournament and provided free drinks to the tournament field thanks to my investment in Hole In One insurance. I hope I don't have wait another 10 years for a 3rd hole in one.
