We were playing Hyland Golf Course in Southern Pines, NC. When it was my turn, I walked up to the #13 tee box and declared, "I keep hearing of all these hole-in-one stories and I think I am due for one. Watch this....I am going to get one right now!" I then struck the ball. I must mention that I have the highest handicap of guys in the group I usually play with making me the least likely to get it close. One of the Guys (Mike) said with the ball in the air, "you know...that actually may have a chance..." I raised my hands to celebrate as though I was certain it was going in the hole(trying to be funny). The ball hit the green in front of the flag and rolled right into the hole. This all happened of November 19, 2016. I used a 6-iron and a titleist prov1 golf ball. Everyone one there signed the ball for me.
