Fountains Golf & Banquet Center, Clarkston, Michigan. I was golfing with my good friend Pat. It was on hole #11 at a distance of 110 yards. I used my 9 iron. In the quiet moments between holes, I was thinking that I might never get a hole in one in my lifetime. Funny, but this thought kept going through my mind all day. On hole #10 I successfully retrieved my friend's ball from some nasty reeds. Immediately I had a reaction to stinging nettle. I finished the hole and quickly moved on to hole #11. All I wanted to do was quickly tee off and look for relief in my golf bag. I took my shot without going through my normal routine. The group before us watched my shot from beginning to end. They were congratulating me on my beautiful shot before I even knew what happened.
I used a Titleist 4 DT SoLo Golf Ball personalized with my name. I love these golf balls!
