I was on a 3 day "buddies" golf weekend with my brother, Paul Katalinich, and friends Danny Flynn and John Wright. We were playing the last par 3 of the trip on Sunday, August 28, 2016, the 15th hole at Mesaba CC in Hibbing, MN. The MGA lists the hole as 144 yards, but the tee marker was 1 yard back of the MGA marker and our GPS showed the back of the green at 160 yards. The flag was back left making the shot about 155 yards. There was a slight wind R to L and a little into the tee. I hit a 6 iron right on line that landed about 15 feet short of the cup and my Titleist ProV1x red #1 ball rolled right in. It was the first hole in one of my 40 year golfing career and awesome to experience with my brother and friends!
