Junior Golfer from a Titleist Family makes Hole in One!
By Jensen S On 9 August 2015
Jensen Smith an incoming Freshman to Bullard High School (TX) decided to leave select baseball and dedicate his focus on the family passion...golf. Jensen's Grandfather, Father, and Uncle were all golfer's that have had great success in the game and now Jensen is working to hone his skill as well. On August 9, 2015, Jensen was playing with his good friend Jace Alexander, Jace's Dad Jon, and his Father Sam Smith. Jensen who has been working 7 days a week during the summer on his game has seen it improve by over 30 shots in the last 6 weeks. Playing the Men's Intermediate Tee, Jensen pulled a 6 Iron out and proceeded to hit it exactly 172 yds right into the hole on #13 at Eagle's Bluff Country Club. At 14, Jensen becomes the youngest member of his family to score a One as his father did the same, coincidentally with a Titleist Ball, at the age of 16.
Hole in One's are not a routine for most, and Jensen has a long way to go to catch his Grandfather, Ken Smith who made 8! The next generation of Smith's is well on his way with Titleist in his bag!
