Just one of those Father Daughter moments

Our family of four was on vacation in St. Kitts over the Chistmas / New Year holiday with our clubs in tow. Arrived on the 27th, golf with my wife on the 28th, with my daughter on the 29th with a few more rounds to come. My play did not start well - at all. Worse - the ladies were playing well. Finally, I started to get my swing working but had contributed several new pro v 1's to the water and other hazards. I try to limit the loss of new balls when this is happening and I went deep into my bag and found a new sleeve of pro v 1's that a fellow golfer at my club gave me - I think 2009 vintage.

Happy to start getting results I played on with these vintage balls. On hole 7, where on the previous day I dunked a new pro v 1 into the water as local sellers of used balls tried to sell there various collections, I hit a beautiful draw that was headed for the stick. That was a good shot and my daughter hit a good one as well. When we got to the green - I only saw one ball there so I told her to bring her wedge. She said, "I don't think so. That's mine on the green but I'm sure your in the cup". And there it was - a thing of behold. What a difference a day made.
