I was playing in a tournament at my home course Champions Golf Club in Houston, Texas former home of the Tour Championship, Ryder Cup & U.S Open. I had got off to a rough start with a couple Bogies, when i came to my first Par 3 of the day. It was a 170 yard shot over water to a back left pin. I put a good swing on it with my Titleist AP2 6 iron. It was on line all the way, it hit a couple feet in front of the pin and then just disappeared. It was the most awesome feeling I have ever had on a golf course. I have been playing golf for 35 years and have come close several times, but this was the first. What a thrill.
