Leonard Badertscher

Today, November 22, 2011, we had a frost delay. Also front nine was closed as new concrete cart paths were being constructed. Back nine was opened around 9:30 a.m. and Mike Balmes, Evan Turner and myself (Len Badertscher) teed off on the tenth hole. We were the first tee time of the day. I parred the 10th hole along with Evan Turner. The 11th hole has a leveled tee box and it plays 140 yards from the white tee area. Evan Turner teed off first on the 11th hole. His ball landed left of the green. We had a red flag today, so I wanted to land just short of the green to the left as the green on the front slopes left to right. And that's what happened today. My ball landed short and rolled to the right down to the hole and dropped in! Par for the back nine is 37. I shot a 42 today. Hole in one and 5 pars, but a couple bad shots on two holes cost me a great back nine score! But that's why we play this great game!
