Living the Titleist Dream

I have been playing golf for almost 50 years. Being from the Pittsburgh area, I averaged about 30-40 rounds per year until i retired as a HS Principal in 2002 and moved to Sarasota,FL in 2009. I have been playing about 160 rounds each year, and feel so blessed to do what I love in a great, modest semi-private club, Capri Isles, with great friends in great weather where like "Cheers" everybody knows your name. I am also blessed to have a very understanding and supportive wife and great son, who is my"golf buddy" when he is not working. This was my 4th career hole-in-one, and at age 71, it is very special. The shot was Johnny Miller telestrator worthy, a high slight draw over water into a 15 mph wind landing softly about a yard in front of the pin taking one low hop into the cup. As a Team Titleist golfer, I was wearing an FJ cap and shirt, glove, 9W FJ Freestyle shoes, using a SM5 Titleist Vokey 48 degree wedge and Pro V1 ball at the time.
