I started playing in the Philipsburg Country Club member guest tournament many years ago in Philipsburg, PA. I live in Ohio, so the trip to the mountains of PA, is an annual event I always look forward to. Playing with my Brother in law, John, makes it even more special. It is not only my favorite golf outing, but a time when our two families always have a great weekend.

To make this weekend even more special, on day 2, Sunday, August 14th, 2011, I was on hole # 4, a 140 yard par three, straight up hill, and with a 7 iron, and hit what I thought was a good shot... Ok, it ended up being a GREAT shot. Upon reaching the green, I was disappointed to find a ball 20 feet short of the pin. Walking toward the ball, I went by the cup, finding mine in the bottom. Perfect!
