I was playing in the Friday 18 hole blitz at Kempsville Greens Golf Course in Virginia Beach, Va. As I approached the par 3 164 yard 17th, all I could think about was hitting it to the center of the green and hopefully secure a two putt par. As the ball left the face of my 8 iron, I noticed that it was starting to draw towards the left side of the green right where the flag just happened to be. Once I realized that the ball (Titleist DT-SOLO) had landed approx. 4 feet above and to the right of the hole, I turned and headed to the cart. All of a sudden one of my teammates yelled "It went in, It went in). It was sad not to actually see it go in (since this was my first one), but it was pure joy retrieving my ball and buying adult beverages for everyone.
