My family and I decided to go to our local golf course for nine holes. I bought some solo balls from the club house to try out since I'm a newby to golf. The first hole at our course is a par 4 and I hit a great tee shot leaving me 145 from the flag. I grabbed my PW and dropped it ten foot from the cup. I two putted for par. Hole two is a par 3 that was playing 167 from the cup. I selected my 8 iron and made a perfect strike. The ball hit right at the flag and then disappeared. I looked at my wife in disbelief, thinking did I just see it go in? She ran up there while I waited impatiently. I knew it was a hole in one by the amazing scream that came from her mouth. I've only been playing this game for 10 months now, but have hit thousands of balls at the range. It was pretty ironic that my hole in one came on my very first round hitting a titleist ball! I will never hit anything else!
