Mr Ernie Grizzle

I,ve been playing golf for 46 years and had a few close to the hole but never achieved a hole in one. We were playing a 5 some and greenies that day. Greenies being on the green in one on par 3,on the green in 2 on par 4 and on in 3 on par 5s. I had 5 greenies plus the hole in one so things had been going fairly well for me. The gentlemen I was playing with were lifelong friends and my brother. we try to get together every Monday we can. We all are in our sixties. It was overcast but hot and humid. We take the game seriously but not to seriously if you get my drift. My brother inlaw John is probably the best of us and shoots in the low 70s. The previous hole I had gotten a triple bogey . As soon as I hit it on number 7 I knew it was going to be a good one greenie at worst. When I saw it hit the green it hit once and rolled straight to the hole then drop from sight. We had to go to the hole to be sure it had not rolled past My brother got there first and grabbed the flag and looked up at me and said no not there then pulled up the flag . The ball popped out and he gave me that evil smile. It was was by far the best feeling I had ever experienced on a golf course
