One week to the day after my 60th birthday I got the greatest gift ever.... my first hole-in-one! I occasionally play in the "noon game" with the guys at Four Lakes Country Club in Edwardsburg, Mi., and that is what I was doing July 9th, 2012. It happened on hole #3- 148yds., I used a #4 hybrid and a Prov1x. My shot was a beauty- a high floater, one bounce and rolled about 6ft..It was even more memorable because my husband was playing in the group in front of us and saw my shot. The entire golf course heard me when I peeked into the cup and saw my ball!
Well, I took the boys money that day, but by the time I bought a round I figure I broke about even..... but it was so worth it. What a great day!!
