I was invited to play with a few guys in my building after a long day of meetings. I have only been golfing for a little over a year and a half and I was playing with some seasoned veterans, so needless to say, I was a little bit intimidated. I do not have the most consistent of shots, but I was the first one up on hole #6 and I was not expecting anything spectacular, but after I hit, I knew it was a good clean shot that just felt good. At first, I did not think anything of the shot, except that it felt good, and even as I saw it drop on the green and start rolling toward the pin, I still did not think about a hole in one, but figured it would just be really close. As it rolled closer and closer to the pin, I saw the ball disappear! I threw up my arms in celebration and turned to the three others in my group, but realized no one was actually saw it drop. Two of the guys were talking amongst themselves and the other was still marking the score card from the last hole. I asked if anyone saw what just happened and since no one actually saw it drop, they just kind of dismissed it. After each one hit their second shot on to the green, I walked up to the pin and confirmed my hole in one with my Titleist Pro V1 #7 in the cup. The rest of my game did not even matter as I was still full of adrenaline and shock from my first hole in one!
