I was playing in a foursome on Thursday afternoon, August 8, on the North Course at Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club in Bonita Springs, FL. We all live there, and it was our usual Thursday afternoon get together. When we got to the 8th hole, an 80 yard par 3 (the tee box was moved up because the main tee boxes are being redone), the first person hit a shot to within 6 feet of the hole. The next person hit a shot that went way right. I was third and hit a 52 degree wedge. the ball landed behind the cup and bounced backward into the hole. I was using a Titelist NXT Tour S ball that I had found on the previous hole. The ball is now on display in my office. I don't remember what the last guy did, because I still couldn't believe what I had done. We all celebrated at the pub!
