My hole-in-one happened in the Couple's Membership Tournament at my home course in Graettinger, IA. This 215 yard par 3 played even longer with some wind into us, so I decided to hit a 3 wood. There was 5 others in our group and not one person saw the ball go into the hole. I knew I had hit it very well, but it was nowhere to be seen as we approached the green. We all started searching around the green, never once thinking the ball had gone into the hole. After a couple minutes of searching, I happened to spot a large divot about 10 feet in front of the hole. I then proceeded to sprint up to the hole to find my ball resting in the bottom of the cup! I always said I would never get a hole-in-one but I guess I was wrong! My partner and I went on to win the Couple's Membership Tournament that year and the following year! It was a day that none of us will forget!
