I stood on the 17th tee box at Monarch Beach Golf Course today and told myself that this next shot will be my first ace, and of the 400 times I have told myself that, today it actually came true. The card had the hole playing 150 yards, my scope had it at 159. We had the ocean breeze in our face but the slope had negated the wind. I took my Tmb 8 iron and stuck the ball as well as I could have. I'll never this mornings round. It will be cool someday to tell my son I carded my first ace the year he was born (8-17-2016).
