My First Ace So Unpredictable

I am 55 years old and have been playing golf for decades, playing hundreds of rounds of golf. To let you know in the past two years, I have changed from playing one golf ball to a Titleist NXT Tour and have noticed a significant improvement in distance and control. The closest that I have come to a hole in one was a hole in three. On that occasion, I hit my shot across the pond into the bank of the hazard. So I re-teed another ball and hit that shot into the hole… unbelievable. Regarding my first ace, it was an overcast morning at Akron Goodpark Golf Course and I came to the 4th, hole, which is 150 yard par 3. The pin was tucked in the back portion of the green, about 15 feet from the fringe. My opponent just hit a shot, 4 feet left of the pin and made sure I knew about it. Then, I hit a high, crisp 7 iron, which never left the pin. The ball hit six feet in front of the pin, bounced, and found the bottom of the cup. My group on the tee erupted in a loud cheer, which was followed by many high-fives…I was numb, but elated. Oh, guess what…my opponent made his birdie, but lost the hole.
