My First after 30 years

Playing in a normal day game with a group of 5, it was the start of a normal day. I had no clue that today was the day and I would finaly get it!!!. I have had 2 double eagles in my career, but yet to have a hole in one. One this day we got to the tee box and I figured the hole to play about 100 yd. The wind was behind us and the yardage messured about 110 yards. I placed the ball on a tee just a little higher than normal to get the ball higher and maybe not as far as I normally hit the pitching wedge. My normal wedge is about 125 yard and the hole was playing much shorter. I hit the ball easy and high to allow it to land a little softer. I hit the ball and it was one of those shots that you know is hit well. I looked at the green and saw the ball hit short of the flag take on bounce and release ever so gently at the hole. It got to the hole, stopped for just a moment and then fell in. Being the lucky one of those to get to see the hole in one, all of us yelled loud enough to be heard in Dallas which is about 300 miles from Midland.
