We were on # 17 on Cimarrone Golf Club in St. Johns (St. Augustine) Florida. The distance was 124 yards. My 9 iron is to short for me so I decided to go with an easy 8 iron instead. I hit the ball a little flat and did not get much air under it. Just cleared the marsh and rolled up the right side of the green. I turned to walk away as the ball slowly started to leak down towards the flag. My buddies started screaming "that looks good, that looks good, oh my gosh!!!!!! It's going in" and just like that is dropped in the hole. After I was done high five-ing and Man Hugging everyone we went to the club house (after 18 of course) to but a round of drinks. It was 8:30 PM and they were closed! Lucky me right, not so much much. We went back to my home bar and proceeded to clean out the liqueur cabinet. What a great day!
