I have only been golfing for 9 years.My first hole in one happened on July 31, 2014 after I had taken a bucket list trip to the 2014 British Open in England (Royal Liverpool, Hoylake). My hole in one took place playing with my Thursday night traveling Ladies golf league. We were golfing at Strawberry Ridge GC in Harmony, PA. I used a 3 wood instead of a driver for Hole#5 which is a par 3. The yardage read 139 yds on my skycaddie. I thought the shot was short but when I didn't see it on the green, I figured it rolled to the back but one of the ladies I was golfing with looked in the hole and saw it! The expression on her face was priceless! Then when I looked, I couldn't help but scream!! So exciting!! So now it was picture time! What makes it even sweeter is that I was the first woman to ace a hole on that course in the 14 yrs. that it has been open. That's my awesome story!!! :-)
