I had a few minutes before work and decided the best use of my time would be to hit the golf links for a quick 9. I was initially planning on playing the 9 holes by myself but ran into a few friend that were just about to tee off. I was striking the ball really nicely and scoring the way I was hoping. On the par 3 17th hole I saw the flag near the front right of the green and with the layout and wind decided to try and play a slight fade into the flag. As pure as I can hit the ball, I hit my 8 iron at my target with that small fade. The ball hit just off the green, hopped up and touched down on the green and began to roll out toward the hole. The ball then dropped and celebrations began! It was a shot I will never forget and the ball will be cherished for a life time!
