It was an Ionia County SWAT fundraiser outing in Portland, Michigan on Friday July 5, 2019. It was on the Par-4 284-yard 15th hole an Willow Wood Golf Club. I hit a Driver on the hole which is a blind uphill dogleg to the right. I hit it well and one of my playing partners said you'll be on the green or close. As you went around the corner and approached the green, we notice a large divot in line with the hole but no ball. Thinking the ball bounced over the green, we went and looked behind the green but didn't find it. Finally someone in the group said "dare we look in the hole" and sure enough my #2 Titleist Pro V1 was sitting in the bottom of the cup. I was kind of shocked and excited at the same as I never would have thought my first hole-in-one and albatross would come on one shot. Needless to say the cocktails in the clubhouse were well worth it!
