It started when the group ahead of us on the third hole allowed my group to play through. Anytime this happens, my friends and I always look to show off to the people letting us play through. Once I got over the ball, the nerves kicked in. I wanted to make sure I didn't make a fool of myself to the group letting us play through. At contact, I knew I hit a pure shot. I saw it in the air tracking toward the pin. I thought to myself, "for once I am actually going to show off and look like a somewhat decent golfer". The ball hit the green taking two bounces, then in. I was in awe thinking I just saw a hole in one. All of the sudden, one of the guys from the group ahead of us went running onto the green with his hands in his air, That's when I knew it was true. Having that rush of excitement and joy to not only yourself, but everyone who witnessed it.

The best part is when you walk up to the hole to pick up your ace. It is truly an amazing experience I will always remember.
