My first Hole in One a reward for switching back
By John F On 9 August 2012
I have been golfing for 14 years or so and for the last couple of years had been trying a couple of other brands. 2 months ago I switched back to Titleist and Pro V1 after being given a ball from a friend, and found that the ball responded really well to my game.
I have been playing some pretty solid golf and have actually progressed along pretty well in my club’s match play tournament... Wednesday is our usual men's day and last night I was playing pretty solid, I hit the ball to a couple of feet on #5 the first par 3 for Birdie, so when I got up to the 8th hole I was excited at the prospect of possibly making another Birdie. The hole measured 145 yards; I took out my pitching wedge and hit a nice high shot right at the pin. The ball lands take one hop and I think it has stopped; it looked pretty good, another birdie shot, I look down and kick the tee away then look at the ball once again to watch it disappear. I lost my mind and could not believe it.
I was ecstatic when I watched a good friend make his first one earlier this year, but the feeling when you make your first one is totally amazing.
