My First Lifetime Hole In One
By Jeffrey B M On 23 September 2012
The third hole at the Evergreen Golf Course in Evergreen, Colorado is totally blind requiring the golfer to shoot over some large boulders marked only with a directional sign. I was disappointed with my tee shot because I hit it somewhat to the right. However, the location of the pin is changed frequently. On September 20, 2012 it was on the right side of the green. When my golfing partner and I arrived at the green, we looked in the sand trap and out in the weeds and could not find my ball anywhere. My partner laughingly indicated that perhaps it was in the hole. I also laughed and went to check. There was my Titleist Pro V1 sitting in the cup. What an incredible thrill after 58 years of playing golf to finally get a hole-in-one. It must have been the ball!
