It has been tradition now for many years. I take my dad to play golf for his birthday. His 1st hole in 1 came on his 70th birthday celebration golf outing on hole 14 @ Spring Lakes GC in Chatsworth Ga. our home town. I will take him to different courses for his birthday so that he can say hey I've played The Farm, The Dalton Country Club etc....But sometimes he likes to play his home course. My hole in 1 story is very special to me, simply because this year for his birthday, playing at Spring Lakes was my son (10yrs old) and my dad (74 yrs old) and for my first hole in 1 to be on the same hole as my dad, 4 years later from his 1st, with my son and dad as witnesses.. was priceless..
