On Tuesday, August 2, 2016, I was playing skins with my regular Tuesday and Thursday group at Blue Rock Springs Golf Course in Vallejo, California. We were on the West Course on the #7 Par 3. We had a foursome and my playing partners had already tee'd off. The White tee box was further back then I expect and I had a pitching wedge and thought, I don't have enough club!!! I went back to my cart and picked up an Adams Blue 8 iron. It was 110 yards to the pin. I struck the ball clean, it drew in bounced twice onto the green, struck the pin and went into the cup for a HOLE-IN-ONE!!! At least 10 witnesses saw it and I had to buy drinks for all of them!!! My very first hole-in-one for playing for 6 years.
