My one and only

Over ten years ago, as an assistant Golf Professional at Seattle Golf Club, myself and the other assistant head out late at night to get in a few holes before dark. With intentions of only playing nine, we get to the 183 yard par 3 eigth hole. I hit a great 5 iron, right at it, but with the sun nearing the horizon we could not see it land, I remember saying to him, "that should be pretty good". As we approach the green and only see one ball, I think it might have a chance, sure enough it was in the bottom of the cup. After a minute of screaming and high five's I realize it is getting dark soon, and there was no way I wasn't going to play a full round and have this count. The other pro says, "hop in, I will drive while you play the rest of the holes". As I put out on 18 in the pitch black I remember thinking of what a great guy to not only stick around but to essentially caddie for me. Thank you Jason, it will be a day I will never forget.
