A nice hot, Florida Sunday on a great course was frustrating at first and my play was disappointing. Mayacoo Lakes is a wonderful course, and it was getting the best of me today.
Just came off # 6 with a double bogey and was not happy. The next hole, a par 3 that plays longer than the card says, is another test.....I decided to hit my 4 iron, and I hit it just left of the pin. My buddy calls it in the air, "it's going in, it's going in...." I ignore him, and bend down to pick up my tee. And sure enough, it goes in and I missed seeing it....turned out to be a good day....
