My perfect shot
By Tyler P On 18 October 2011
I was finally able to play a round with 3 friends, after a month of just working long weeks. It was a hazy grey outside, with a light sprinkle. Typically we wouldn't play but for some reason we decided to ignore the weather forecast. We not only chipped in three different birdies from an average of 10-15 feet away each, but as I approached the 11th tee box with a 9 iron, i cleared my mind, took a deep breath in and released it. I pulled back, paused for a brief second, swung then connected through the ball and held my final position. It not only felt perfect, but sounded perfect, when the club connected with the ball. As I gazed at the flight path of the ball, I said outloud "dead straight". The flag was in front of the green and as my ball came down, it hit right in front of the flag, bounced once about 2 feet high, then cupped. It was the best shot of my life! The best part was having 3 witnesses there, bc who would believe that. Amazing!
