Playing with The Kennel Club, normal Thursday. Hit what I thought was a nice shot, right at the pin. Leaned over to retrieve my tee, looked back and said to my playing partner "can't believe that went through the green. Taking my 8 iron if chipping out of the rough, or my SW if it went through the rough into the back trap. Saw my ball mark about 8 feet in front of the pin, fixed it, and then went to look for the ball. Can't find. No, couldn't be, but it was in the hole. Since a hole in one also takes the mystery hole, thought I was in for a big pay day, however, many of our golfers were down at the PGA, so it cost me a lot more than I won that day, but will trade it in again. Only my second in over 30 years at this game.
