I had replaced my 4 iron with a hybrid club several months ago.
Last Thurs., I put a old Titlist DTR #3 iron (steel shaft)in my bag, thinking that it would do as a 4 or 3 iron.
Friday, 6/8/2012, when I was considering what to use on #8 hole, (134 yds), wind stiff, too much for a 5 iron, which I normally hit 135yds. I decided to hit the #3 iron & choke down a little,
I did and the result was a hole in one.(My third.)
I thought it interested that I put it in my bag & it was the first time to use it during the round.
