New Titleist balls, a glaring sun and a round of golf I won't forget

I'm not sure I should have been playing golf in the first place that day, considering my wife was nearing her due date with our second child. Nonetheless, I was free for a few hours and the golf course was only 6 blocks away. It was a very nice Fall day and I was excited to try the new Titleist balls I bought, after switching from swoosh. Long story short, my drives were about 10 yards longer, but drawing harder. I approached #17 with a brutal sun glare, and decided to focus on keeping my head down out of the sun and center the ball in my stance. I could tell I hit the ball clean, but had no clue where it went. My partner said it likely landed on the front of the green. Sure enough it landed front center where the was an obvious divet, but no ball to be seen. Nor was there a ball behind the green in the rough. With a child's excitement, like Christmas morning, I checked the cup and there sat my new Titleist ball with a hint of dirt from the landing.
