I was playing in a shootout group at New Bern Golf & Country Club (NC) with Don Grosz, Jack Cotten and Mitch Khoury. I hadn't played in over a month, so I was not expecting much from this round. On the 15th hole, the pin was set front right, 163 yards out by rqngefinder. I hit a nice little 6 iron, and the ball was drawing left of the hole. It hit just inside the collar, and kicked right. I heard Don say "GO IN" and watched as I again heard him say "IT DID". I was fortunate enough to win 2 skins from the shootout, which covered about a third of the bar tab!

I had one previous hole-in-one, in 1998. I was nat able to see that ball go in, it was behind a ridge in the green, so it was fun to actually see this one drop!
