My ace happened during league play! Hole number 5 at the Oaks Golf Course, Springfield, IL. I used my 8 iron for the 101 yard hole. I knew I hit it pretty good but thought it would land past the cup. All of a sudden the ball came down, struck the pin and stuck in the cup! I froze and then turned around and looked at my partner who was standing behind me....her eyes were as wide as mine! Then we started stuttering asking the pair with us if they saw what we saw!! The group that was on the hole ahead of us ran to the green and looked in the cup....sure enough....it stuck!!! Then came the goosebumps!!! It was awesome!!!
