One Bounce And It Was In

Playing the 12th hole on Course #2 at Sherrill Park in Richardson, Texas, I hit an 8 iron 153 yards to a pin tucked into the lower right side of the green where the green drops off sharply into a creek. When I hit the shot I knew it was dead on. However, I didn't think I had hit it hard enough and was thinking it might end up in the creek. I had trouble seeing the shot hit on the front of the green because of some trees I had to hit over. My playing partner Steve Curry looked at me and said, "did that go in"? I couldn't tell. As we drove up to the green, the only ball I saw on the green was Steve's. I got to the green and look in the cup and saw my ball hugging the pin at botton of the cup. My first thought was that I had finally done something that I could cross off my Bucket List.
