We had a par 3 tournament at our course this past weekend. All the holes were setup as par 3's. All of the normal par 3's were setup from the tips. I've had a hole out on 16 before but it was from 138yrds. This day the tee box was setup as far back as possible at 173yrds. It was cold and it was windy. I pulled my 5 hybrid out and stood on the tee. Then thought no way can I reach with this club. I went back to my bag and grabbed my 4 hybrid. The pin was about 30ft from the right edge, so I aimed out off of the right edge hit a small draw and watched it come in left of the pin. Of course it's an up hill shot so after that I had no clue. I walked up to the green and only saw 3 balls. I started searching the rough past the green thinking I had hit the wrong club and I went over the green. One of my buddies said did you look in the hole? I said no, so we walked up to the hole and there it was. My Titleist ProV1X in all its glory. Great day!! Best part was I got it on a regulation hole otherwise it would not have counted for anything.
