We were playing a fourth of July four person mixed tournament. we were playing pretty good 10 under going into 16. we made it to 16 tee box which was a 348 yard par 4. it was my turn to tee off. One of my partners had already hit a great drive so i figured i would let one rip. Funny thing before i put my tee in the ground one of my partners said i want to hear you hit the pin. I hit the ball knew i crushed it but thought it might be a little right. We couldnt see the green over the hill from the tee box. we got up to the green and saw a partners ball 20 yards fron the green and i usually hit the ball about 20 yards farther than him. after looking all around the green for my ball i said just for fun someone look in the hole. So one of my partners walked up onto the green kept a straight face as she looked in the hole and asked if we thought it was in. I said no way cause you are not getting excited. And obviously it was. We were so excited no one even thought to take a picture. So we ended up with two pars for 13 under. We finished second. went into the clubhouse to tell the manager and they didnt care. I guess i got a good job. and then he walked away. pretty nice. I guess for my first hole in one and it being on a par 4 there would be more. oh well.
