Went to Scotland with 7 friends for a bucket list golf excursion. Came home with a hole in 1 on a par 4. My first Ace, my first double eagle and hit it in Scotland to cap off the experience. It was on #7 at Elie, a blind par 4. A member of our group playing behind us witnessed it. We were playing #7 which goes back up #6. #7 is a blind tee shot and I was setting up to hit it toward the pot bunkers guarding the right side of the green as the fairway slopes right to left. It was a high risk high reward shot so I yelled at him to watch the shot. I struck the driver well and then watched him. He raised his hands liked I missed the bunkers. He kept watching it for 10 more seconds and then he went nuts yelling it went in, it went in. I thought he meant the bunker but he yelled no, it went in the hole. He tells me that he saw it miss the bunkers and take two big hops toward the hole. He thought hey he's going to have an eagle putt, then the Pro V1 kept tracking toward the hole and he thought, wow it may be a kick in eagle putt and then the ball disappeared in the cup. Amazing story on our last day to cap a great week in Scotland.
