It was the 2nd Hole at Butternut during our first week of league play. 155 yards uphill - the green is not visible from the tee box. I used my 8 iron aiming for the front of the green knowing my ball releases. After we walked up to the green I thought my ball was 10 ft from the cup, so I went to help my partner find his ball that went left into the woods. When I came back to the green my opponent was lining up a putt with what I thought was my ball. His partner said he was sure I should have been on the green, so he looked in the cup and asked what I was playing. I said "Titleist Pro V1 with a red check mark ." He then reached in the cup and pulled out my ball and said "You've got a hole in one!" As tradition dictates, I gladly bought the round of drinks. Looking forward to the next one!
