Coming up to the ninth tee, I asked my playing partner, "if I get a hole in one, will I beat you for this nine?" He answered, "It depends on what I score." He proceeded to hit his ball on the green, about ten feet away. I hit my ball clean. It landed on the front of the green, took one bounce and went in the hole. He missed his put and we tied for the nine hole score.
