Felt very fortunate to have gotten a hole in one 23 years ago at the age of 42, never thought I would get another. I have been playing in a Wednesday evening league at Fox Hills Classic in Plymouth, Michigan for about 15 years. This night we were on the Woodlands nine on the 5th hole. It has a two tired green which slopes left to right. One of my opponents hit hit a great shot about 8 inches from the cup. I said in jest "guess I'll have to put my ball inside of yours". I hit it left of the hole and it rolled right in. That was the first hole in one in the league's 26 years of playing at Fox Hills. AllI can say is that it was a very lucky shot. Blessings come at unexpected times!
The hole was 124 yards, I used a nine iron and a Titleist HP2 Distance ball.
